Torben has a management team of 9 people including Business Liaison, a Security Officer, a Service Manager and the delivery system compiled by a Vice President of Business Applications and a Vice President of IT Operations. The entire Group IT function consists of 600 IT professionals situated in 41 locations organised in competence teams.

Simon Dale

Based in SAP Asia’s headquarters in Singapore, Simon has worked extensively in major Asia Pacific countries for the last eight years. In this role, he is responsible for managing the company’s operations and activities in Singapore, including long-term business development, customer care, as well as government and community relations. Prior to his current role, Mr. Koo was Managing Director for the South Asia Growth Economies, covering Bangladesh, Bhutan, Brunei, Cambodia, Laos, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Vietnam. Mr. Koo has more than 18 years of experience in the IT industry, covering business and product management, consulting, marketing, sales and channels management. Mr. Koo graduated from the National University of Singapore with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree. He is currently the 1st Vice Chairman of the Singapore IT Federation. He is also a member of the Advisory Board for the School of Information Systems for Singapore Management University, as well as the Informatics and IT School of Temasek Polytechnic.

An Engineering graduate from Mumbai University, Deep is an IT veteran with 17 years of experience, including 15 years in Tata. Deep has very rich global experience of leading businesses in various parts of the world. He was Country Manager for Turkey and then the Head of the Middle East and Far East Asia for Tata Infotech. He also represented the “Gulf Cooperation Council” of CII in India in 2001. Before getting merged in TCS, Deep established the Tata Infotech business in Singapore.As Country Manager of TCS, Deep is responsible for driving business and the P&L for Singapore. Prior to IBM, Sew Bun was an entrepreneur in a start-up for a listed healthcare company, transforming a bank IT in pioneering days of object-orientation, lecturer and researcher in the Institute of Systems Science, and principal engineer of a systems integrator developing multi-million dollar military simulation projects. Outside of IBM, Sew Bun is an Adjunct Associate Professor with National University of Singapore and the Chair of the National Infocomm Competency Framework Steering Committee.

A 14-year veteran with Citibank, Eric has been responsible for transforming the business analytics capabilities of the bank to its current leadership position in the Singapore financial services industry.Recruited into Citibank’s elite Management Associate Program, Eric started his career in marketing and then helped set up the Retail Banking analytics function where he spearheaded Customer Profitability methodologies and sales incentive compensation modeling, and championed many analytical exercises that provided insights into the Retail Banking business.Eric then moved to the Finance division where he headed up the financial analysts team, before returning back to his former business analytics function as the Director of Decision Management for Singapore.
