Teoh Qi Wei, Kiwie (President)
Qi Wei is pursuing a degree in Information Systems Management with a second major in Operations Management. Being part of the team that successfully staged the inaugural edition of APEX Global in 2009, he has risen through the ranks to helm the next Organizing Committee in 2010. As the President of APEX Global 2010, Qi Wei coordinates the entire year-long planning process of the event and is fully committed to making APEX Global 2010 a bigger success than before. In addition, Qi Wei is an avid cycling enthusiast and enjoys outdoors activities.

Clara Tan (Finance Secretary)
Clara is a 3rd year student at SMU pursuing a double degree in Business Management and Economics. Always out to make the best out of life and have fun, she is actively involved in many activities apart from her studies. One of particular significance is her involvement in Samba Masala, an SMU Afro-Brazilian percussion group. She also volunteers at the SPCA, Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, and is currently part of team of 27 organizing an overseas community service trip to Cambodia. Clara hopes to contribute to making the APEX experience as fun-filled and enriching as possible.

Nguyen Thanh Khoa (Creative Designer)
Khoa is a 3rd year SMU student pursuing a bachelor degree in Information Systems, who always seeks for challenges in both his major field of programming and his hobby in graphical designing. Being an IT guy, he prefers computer-related activities; however, also enjoys sports such as swimming and badminton. Taking part in APEX Creative Team, Khoa hopes that this will give him opportunities to apply his skill-set in a global environment and give a different experience to all.

Narmeet Singh (Creative Designer)
Narmeet is a 2nd year Information Systems student from SMU. His interests mainly lie in Game designing and 3D related work, however feels business knowledge is an integral part of any successful career. He is currently running his own Design and IT company with a group of friends and has worked on some rather interesting projects. Narmeet intends to give as much value to APEX, as part of the Creative team, as he is gaining and hopes to extend this new found knowledge to his own line of work.

Samantha Soh Yuling (Creative Designer)
Samantha is a 2nd year student at SMU pursuing a degree in Business Management. She has diverse interests ranging from sports to music to investing, having captained her school’s netball team and currently pursuing a piano diploma. As the Marketing Director of the SMU E.y.E Investment Club, Samantha has plenty of experience organising large scale events such as the recent Asia Investment Banking Conference 2009. In taking on the role of the Creative Director, she hopes to tap on her vast experience and interests to make APEX a memorable one for everyone involved.

Benny Poerwanto Leonardi (Vice President – University Relations)
Currently in his second year of studies with a degree in Business Management and majoring in marketing, Benny is the Vice President of APEX Global 2010 Organizing Committee and is in charge of University Relations. Friendly and approachable, he loves to meet new people and try on new challenges. Benny is an active member of the SMU Komunitas Indonesia (SMU Indonesian Cultural Society), having played as a musician before and currently the marketing director of their annual production. He is also a keen Kendo-ka, having joined SMU Kendo Club recently. With his diverse interests and background, Benny is set to make APEX Global 2010 a globally-recognized event with a great mix of participating countries.

Estee Ho (University Relations Executive)
A 2nd year SMU student pursuing a degree in Accountancy, Estee is a cheerful and enthusiastic girl who wants to live her life to the fullest. She finds joy in being part of SMU’s exciting environment with wonderful people and the never-ending activities. She loves paintball, horse-riding and is also serving as an Exco Member of SMUX XSeed. Estee hopes that by being part of the University Relations Team, she can get to meet more people from around the world.

Lydia Lui (University Relations Executive)
Lydia is a second year student at the Singapore Management University pursuing a degree in Economics. As a member of the University Relations Team, she is responsible for the marketing needs of the event as well as for liaising with international participants. Lydia is excited to be part of this year’s organizing committee, and hopes to help make APEX Global 2010 a success.

Ng Jian Fen (University Relations Executive)
Jian Fen is a second year student at Singapore Management University pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management. During her leisure time, Jian Fen enjoys outdoors and the arts, and is currently serving as the Finance Secretary for SMU’s contemporary dance group – InDanCity. Through APEX 2010, she hopes to refine her valuable public relation skills as well as enhance her skills in teamwork and management. She looks forward to an enjoyable time meeting different people from many countries and cultures. She hopes that APEX will be an unforgettable and fulfilling experience for all.

Erik Tanuwidjaja (University Relations Executive)
Erik is currently a sophomore pursuing BSc Information Systems Management, responsible for University Recruitment and Relations. His growing interest in business IT induced him to be part of APEX 2010 Organising Committee. Erik strongly believes APEX will be an excellent platform for any undergraduate who wants to go beyond IT in the world of business. He hopes to contribute and benefit from this stimulating Business IT Case Challenge.

Angela Chan (Vice President – Events)
Angela is a 3rd year student pursuing a degree in Business Management. Being part of the organizing committee for the inaugural APEX Global case challenge 2009, she is now geared up to lead the Events committee. She is also a vice president of SMU’s Banking and Finance Interest Group (BFIG), and moves to the grooves as a member of SMU’s Samba Masala. She loves interacting and getting to know people, and puts her heart into whatever she does. Together with her team, she seeks to come up with the exciting event line up for APEX 2010, and ensure the smooth operations of the event, hopefully making it a memorable and enriching experience for everyone.

Yeo Tee Hsien (Events Executive)
A penultimate year student at SMU pursuing a double degree in Economics and Business Management, Tee Hsien’s passion lies in events management as well as entrepreneurship. On a lighter note, he is also an avid bowler, and was the captain of his junior college’s bowling team as well as SMU’s bowling club from 2008-2009. To achieve a balance in his life, Tee Hsien is also part of an International Service Program to Chiang Mai in Dec 2009. With a dynamic student life as well as a drive for success, he believes he will be able to add value to the organization of APEX 2009 and enable it to be one of the top tertiary competitions globally.

A 2nd year student at SMU pursuing a degree in Economics, Samantha is a vibrant individual with a passion for meeting new people and trying out new things. Also serving as the SMU School of Economics Corporate Communications Director as well as Samba Masala’s Creative & Communications Director, Samantha is the sort who is constantly active in student life since her Secondary School days. Samantha hopes that as part of the Events Subcommittee for APEX, she will be part of creating an enjoyable APEX experience for all.

Jonathan Gan (Events Executive)
Currently in his 2nd year, Jonathan is pursuing a Degree in Business Management at SMU. As part of the events committee, he aims to create an enriching, yet fun filled and unforgettable experience for everyone. Apart from planning APEX 2010, he is currently in SMU’s Banking and Finance Interest Group and a member of Samba Masala. He is easy going and firmly believes in maintaining a positive attitude regardless of the circumstances. Jonathan is looking forward to a resounding success for APEX 2010.

Wilfred Phua (Events Executive)
Wilfred is a second year student at the Singapore Management University pursuing a degree in Information Systems Management. With a passion for the tourism industry, he aspires to work in the upcoming integrated resorts and casinos. Wilfred enjoys photography and playing futsal and finds joy in making sure the delegates’ needs are met. Having been part of the inaugural steering committee, Wilfred’s back to contribute to making the second installment an even greater success!

Lee Sue Ann (Events Executive)
A second year Psychology major from SMU’s School of Social Sciences, Sue Ann is a cheerful girl who enjoys a hearty laugh. She aspires to carve a name for herself in the Human Resources realm in the future and snatched the opportunity of being part of APEX Global’s Events Committee. Apart from school, Sue Ann spends time jamming with her friends from SMU’s Brazilian-inspired percussion band, Samba Masala. Sue Ann hopes to gain valuable experience through the event and promises to contribute her best effort in making APEX Global an enriching and enjoyable journey for all.
